This article will demonstrate how to configure the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection client software on a Macintosh in order to connect to your cloud environment. The Remote Desktop Connection software is a download from the App Store and provides the means of connecting to another Windows computer or network. To use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to your Cloud environment, you will need to download and install the free Microsoft Remote Desktop app from the App Store. You must have an Apple ID to install this product. Microsoft does however have a Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac that ships with Office 2011, but has received little recent support and is limited in nature compared to other full featured.
